Courthouse wedding and fall celebration!
It's awesome when couples get married at the courthouse and still book me to photograph their wedding celebration. Jennifer and Alex did just that. A few days after they were married by Judge Worthington, we got together to take family portraits in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Along with their families, we hit a few of my favorite spots. The fall colors were perfect and it was an amazing afternoon. As you will see, both Jennifer and Alex are very photogenic! Best friends get married at Stroudsmoor Country Inn!
By the time Steven and Tricia got married we knew each other very well. A few years ago I photographed Steven's younger sister's wedding at Skytop Lodge. Steven and Tricia are regulars at our restaurant so I get to see them often. If you know the two of them, you know they are truly best friends. Tricia is a fantastic person and Steven is a proud Air Force veteran who served our county during several tours in the Middle East.
Without Tricia knowing, Steven commissioned a local artist, Anna Kaszupski, to secretly create a painting to be unveiled at the wedding reception. Steven's idea went like this. At the end of their first dance, he planned to hand Tricia a bouquet of flowers as he dropped to one knee. He anticipated Tricia's reaction and asked Anna to create painting of the scene, including her reacting to the surprise unveiling. The result was phenomenal. Not only is the painting stellar, but Tricia's reaction was right on target. The staff, disc jockey and I all knew in advance about the surprise. Steven and I met to coordinate the specifics of the unveiling. Please scroll down to see whether or not I captured the moment.....

TV Reporter Marries a Cop!
You may know Kelly Choate from her reporting on-air for WBRE-TV. She somehow managed to plan a wedding while covering her beat full-time! That's quite an accomplishment! She married her longtime beau- Scott, who is a police officer and all-around great guy! We all appreciate the service Scoot and all law enforcement officers do for our communities. I leaned on associate photographer Melissa Evanko for help with this wedding.

Hazelton Loves McAdoo- Christine & Anthony tie the knot!
The gap from Hazelton to McAdoo was bridged when Christine & Anthony got married last week! It was the union of the two nicest people in the world from the two nicest families. I worked with Anthony every now and then in the news business and it was great being part of his wedding. I teamed up with John Wirick Photography for this wedding so we had every angle covered!
The ceremony was held at All Saints Catholic Church, in McAdoo. After Christine's family church closed years ago, the diocese removed the alter and relocated it to All Saints Catholic Church. The alter is very special to Christine, who still sings in the church choir. The alter is amazing and makes an amazing backdrop for photos!
After the ceremony we caravanned to Sand Springs County Club for an absolutely fantastic dinner and party! If you know Anthony then you know he is a huge fan of Ric Flair. The robes they made for their introductions are a must see! Scroll down and have a look...

Tying the knot along the Delaware River in the Poconos
Of all the great wedding venues in the Poconos, Shawnee Inn has one of the best. The outdoor wedding site there, above and along the Delaware River, is one my favorite places to photograph a wedding ceremony. The old growth oak trees create a natural picture frame for the ceremony. And the river makes for a majestic backdrop for photos. It's a great venue for wedding guests as well. Afternoon weddings are shaded and cool among the giant trees.
Kendra and Kevin had a perfect summer day in early September. They live in Philadelphia and chose Shawnee for it's beauty and location in the mountains. Fellow photographer Melissa Evanko and I teamed up to cover every angle of their day- and night! It's great to have a second photographer as we can give two unique looks at the ceremony.
